My gg grandfather, Peter Miller, b. abt 1838 in Prussia married a woman from Missouri named Dorthula Gibbonney. I have seen her name as Dorothy, I have seen her last name spelled with one b and one n. I have even seen it as Gibney. Peter and Dorthula seemed to go back and forth from IL. and Mo. She did die as a young wife and mother. Her father was a blacksmith in Mo. and her mother was from Tenn. according to the 1850 census in Mo. Is there anyone looking for a Miller/Giboney family??
