I am searching for information on James INGRAM b: 6/6/1787 in Hawkins Co., TN. He married Mary LEE in 1807 in Hawkins Co., TN. She was b: 1788 in Hawkins Co., TN. Since we have copies of James' son's entries into his "Miller/Ingram" bible - I am wondering if Mary Lee's last name was Miller. I have been told her parents are John LEE and Elizabeth RYANS. There is a John Lee that owned/farmed land right next to James' dad's land in Hawkins Co., Tn. Close to the Holsten river. They did have a daughter named Mary but another LEE searcher said that Mary did not marry an Ingram. So I am investigating other possiblities since there was no source stated for any of the information on Mary Lee's parents. There was a James that was a witness in a 1803 Hawkins Co. land deal. This James married a Miller. It appears that James and Mary moved to KY (big state) about 1816 - both died there.
