    1. [MILLER-L] My "Brick Wall" Millers

    3. My name is Pati Stone. My mother is Peggy Bernice Miller. Her mother was Pearlie May Townsend (born Nov 27, 1915 in Fannin County, Texas and died Aug 2, 1970 at Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas) and her father was Leo Edward Miller (born Dec 28, 1899 and died Dec 14, 1937 in Gainesville Cooke County, Texas). My great grandfather was William Richard Townsend (born Oct 1, 1892 at Windom, Fannin County, Texas and died Mar 4, 1969 at Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas and his first wife was Annie Florence Riggs (born Nov 23, 1899 in Kentucky and died Jul 30, 1980 in Lamont, Kern County, California). My mother was born with an inherited eye disease, retinitis pigmentosa (RP). We have found no mention or sign of this so far on the Townsend side and have not gotten very far in our research on the Miller line. I am looking for connections on the Miller or Townsend side. Fiddlesticks, I'll take ANY connection at this point. I have quite a bit of info on the Townsend lines, (but plenty of holes, too) and very little on the Miller connection. From what I can discover, either the child listed as Eric in the obituary was adopted by someone after his father's death, or the child was using the name Miller. I have never been able to locate any other info On Leo Edward Miller. I will gladly share what I have. Thanks, Pati Stone

I have quite a very little on the Miller connection. From what I can discover, at the time of his death, Leo was married to a woman named Anna. They had a four or five year old son named Eric. She buried Leo in Fort Worth, Tarrant County Texas, and seems to have disappeared after that, as does Eric. It is definitely a possibiltiy that Anna married again, and her new husband may have adopted Eric. Leo had two brothers, one named Peck and one named Roy. He also had two sisters whose given names are unknown. His parents were J.D. Mattie (maiden name unknown) Miller. Any help on this line would be greatly appreciated. I have been up against this wall for a very long time. Pati Stone > Thanks, > Pati Stone
