    1. [Miller] Frank Miller aka Harry Miller, B: Nov 1882 Missouri
    2. Carolyn
    3. Does anyone have info on a Frank aka Harry Miller, born: Nov 1882 in Missouri? All I have on him is the 1910 Philadelphia Census that shows his dob & occupation as a butcher. He was married to Anna Scholz and father to 4 children: Alvinia, Ferdinand, Harry & Ruth Miller. I don't know his parents names but that census states that his father was born in England & his mother in Germany. His wife is remarried in the 1920 census, showing his children living with a stepfather. I am assuming he may have died in the 1918 great flu epidemic in Philadelphia.....but you know how assumptions can go. Does anyone know if death certificates were issued during this chaotic period? I've not been able to obtain one from PA but that may be because I don't have an accurate year of death. All help & any ideas as to where to go next will be greatly appreciated. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! 2. Overnight, I was thinking I should simplify my query. Does anyone recognize this family group? Daniel Miller born about 1815 in OHIO Susan F Miller born 1808 to 1815 in VIRGINIA George F Miller born about 1839-40 in Iowa Territory James J Miller born about 1840 in Iowa Territory Daniel Y Miller born 1847 in Illinois Angeline Miller born about 1850 in Illinois In Lee or Lynn Co. Iowa in 1840. In Putnam County, IL in 1850 In Bureau County, IL in 1860 Can't find any of them in 1870. Daniel Y. Miller resurfaces in Kansas in 1878. Now this may correlate to a story told me 35 years ago by my grandmother who was a daughter of Daniel Y. Miller of this group. She said the whole family except him drowned in the wreck of an excursion boat on a river sometime after the Civil War. He was away at school. That would explain their disappearance but is perhaps apocryphal. I would be grateful for any tops to follow that might help me break through this brick wall. Ann Lamb

    3. Patti I wrote a email about Freeman Miller. I have had a road block in gaining information. Here's what I know. Freeman Miller b 1888 (supposingly in Eastland county, TX)not confirmed yet married Myrtle Wallace b1890 in OK to John and Catherine Wallace had twin sons J.T. and J.C. Miller on 7/25/1918, no other siblings They lived in Cleveland County, Ok. All of the Miller's have died and are buried in the Lexington Cemetary. J.T. married Frances Murphy (my grandparents-maternal). I never knew my grandfather because of a divorce in my mother's early years. I hope this will help or vice-a -versa. I haven't found Freeman Miller on any census except 1930. 3. Hi Sharon, Have you thought about ordering a death cert. for Elmer? or are these the files you mentioned that burned? ----- Original Message ----- From: Howard McMillan<mailto:hkmcmill@mtco.com> To: miller@rootsweb.com<mailto:miller@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 11:24 AM Subject: Re: [Miller] Indiana Miller Yes Shelly, That's them. I know the kids names but don't know their Married names. I can follow My aunts line but can't follow his line. I have asked the AR. list for a copy of Vera's OBit but can't get any one to do a look up for me. They are both buried in Beloit WS. but the paper files there burned. They both lived in WS for years. Elmer managed the baseball team there during the 40's. He is an interesting fellow.
