He married (1) Mary Elizabeth Davidson, daughter of John Davidson and Abbie English. She was born 08 Oct 1838 in Bradford Co. PA., and died 17 Jan 1910. He married (2) Jane Hatch. Notes for Francis Miller: Died at the age of 61, of an infection of the heart from which he had suffered for several years. Francis came to Ameria from Germany at the age of 13 and lived in Forksville about 35 year where he did his trade of blacksmithing. He had a farm in Elkland. In a Letter from Floyd R. Miller it says: Harry Minard's wife was daughter of Mary Miller from Liberty Corners, Towanda and she has a book from when Francis Miller ran the feed mill in 1885, but most of it was in German. Hi, I am looking for any information about my grandfather Alford Miller, born abt 1847 in either Brady's Bend or Aliquippa, Pa. Married Almeda Beatty Brady, born abt 1848 location probably Pa. They had eight children Ann, Sarah, Lillian, Albert, Elsie, Genevieve, Grover, and Sally. Lillian is my grandmother and although I wasn't interested in genealogy at the time, I remember that she said the family was in the Brady's Bend, Aliquippa and the Beaver Falls area of Pa. I am looking for information on Jacob Joel Miller. He was born February 5, 1861 and died December 13, 1913. He is buried in Old Ferrill Cemetery in Jackson County, Mississippi. He married Nancy Melissa Young(1865-1922) on December 7, 1882 in Jackson County, Mississippi. I have a copy of their marriage license. Their children were Albert G. Miller, Ealon E. Miller, Edward Miller, Mary Matilda Miller, Frank Miller, Charles Fredrick Miller, Elmer E. Miller, Daniel L. Miller, Henry Claud Miller, Willie Miller and John W. Miller The family was in Jackson County in 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930. I have found them on the census. I am looking for both ancestors and descendants. Thanks Rhonda Louviere
I have been watching, with much interest the recent discussions about SC Millers. My Walter W. Miller was born in SC in1836 and died in Ellis Co. TX in 1887. Walter married Nancy E. Brown in Copiah, Co. MS in 1865. Nancy was born in MS in 1845. Walter and Nancy had one or two children while living in MS and several more in TX. Finding Walter's parents has been my brick wall. Your Eli might be connected to Ludwick/Ludwig/Lodowich TRUCKENMILLER aka Lewis T. MILLER. His children have middle initial T.. Before the Rev War, he was Ludwig Truckenmiller and after the war he was Lewis Trucken Miller.
