    1. [Miller] Frank Miller b. 1882-1883 Missouri
    2. Carolyn
    3. I am looking for the family of Frank Miller born 1882 in Missouri. I have no idea of his parents or siblings, nor what part of Missouri he hailed from. He first shows up in the 1900 Philadelphia Census as a butcher and presumably died in the 1918 Great Flu Epidemic that hit that city hard. He married Anna Scholz of Philadelphia and had 4 children with her before he and the eldest daughter, Alvinia, age 10 died in that epidemic. Unable to find either a birth certificate nor a death certificate for this man. Does anyone out there have any leads on where I could turn to next? Would he happen to fit into anyone's missing siblings or family? Take time to laugh, tis the music of the soul! ~Carolyn~ --------------------------------- The fish are biting. 1. Re: [Miller] Millers in Mo., IL.&Tenn,
    2. You can check the death certificates for Missouri online at the Missouri State Archives. There are lots of Peter Millers. It may be tough figuring out which one is him if there is even enough info to go on. This is a great site for anyone researching ancestors in Missouri. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/#search They also have limited death certificates before 1910. Good luck. There is a story that his wife was part Indian, but I do not know this for certain. ==== Do you know what part of Germany he was from? My Francis lived right next to a Peter Miller family in Venedy, Washington County, IL but supposedly (from the man who has traced that family) they aren't related. However, my father and his siblings had much contact with members of that family. Do you know the religion of your Millers? I live in the St. Louis area and have access to the church microfilm records. Where do you live? Gloria

She was born in 1835 in Bavaria and he was born before her according to the Census. I don't know anything more about Francis. Do you know if your Peter had any siblings by the name of Francis? Is there any family story of any Native American Indian heritage in their family? Thank you for this bright star to my morning. Gloria

    3. More info on Mary Ann Miller and William P. Terry. Mary Ann was born in Va. in 1804. She and Wm. were married in 1824 possibly in W. Va. In 1826 they moved to Ohio, probably Darke Co. About 1838 they moved to Fayette Co. Illinois where they lived the rest of their lives. Mary Ann died in 1865 and Wm. died in 1876. William was born in England. It is believed the Mary Ann was part American Indian.
