    3. Ernie, >From your message "Daniel is a brother to my great grandfather, Jacob William Miller. Their father was George Miller. And George is my brick wall. He came from Berks County, PA and died in OH in 1840. His wife was Louisa Weiser" I suugest you trace Louisa Weiser line back through her grandmother Maria Elizabeth Wenger and her father Lazarus Wenger. Lazarus and Anna Lauck were married 10 Nov 1738 at Christ Little Church, Tulpehocken Twp., Berks Co., PA. http://rowefromrau.tripod.com/id8.html Anna Catharina LAUCK born October 1721 at Tarr boss, sponsored by Johann Friederick Propert and Anna Cath. Simons (NY City Lutheran Churchbook). She married Lazarus Wenger 10November 1738 (Christ Little Tulpehocken Churchbook). ....................... Married: Lazarus (WENGER) WINGERT/WINGARD born November 10, 1715 (Father: Hans (Wenger) Mother: Anna Ulrich) married: November 10, 1738 in Host Church, Lazarus died December 16, 1796 in PA Burial: St. Daniel's Cemetery, Robesonia, PA I would suggest that your George Miller descends from the Miller's of Tulpehocken Twp., PA See line of Mathias Mueller / Miller b 11 Oct 1743 Child's Birth/Baptism Date: 18 Oct 1743 Location: Tulpehocken Lutheran Church Jefferson Twp, Berks, Pennsylvania Father: John Jacob Mueller Comment; Mathias Miller married (2nd)Susannah Catherine Miller and she the grand daughter of Johann Peter Mueller and Anna Maria Ulrich. 3. The Daniel Miller I have was probably born in 1840 in Ohio. At Age 11 he was living with his mother and stepfather in Troy Twsp., Delaware Co., Ohio (according to the 1850 census). His mother was Louisa Weiser Miller Glaze. At age 20 he was living with his sister and brother-in-law (Caroline and Henry Willey) in Troy Twsp., Delaware Co., OH. At ages 40 and 59 he was married to Laura and living in Prospect Village, Marion Co., OH. By age 70 (1910) he and Laura were living in Willard, Murray Twsp., Greene Co., MO. He died in 1931 in Springfield, Greene, OH (according to an Ancestry.com family tree). I don't know Laura's maiden name. Their daughter was Mary L. Miller (b. 1874 OH) who apparently married one John E. Jones. (try tracing that one!) Daniel is a brother to my great grandfather, Jacob William Miller. Their father was George Miller. And George is my brick wall. He came from Berks County, PA and died in OH in 1840. His wife was Louisa Weiser, a line with which I am quite familiar thanks to the Weiser Family Association. Any help I can get on George will be greatly appreciated. 3. I thought this was interesting. My gggrandmother Mary Bever was married to Miller, and I have been doing Miller research. But the interesting fact is that is related to the Wilcoxson clan gggfather was John Wilcoxson, and has info on the Daniel Boone relatonship. It would be a kick if we could trace the Millers and the Wilcoxson. Theresa -----Original Message----- From: miller-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:miller-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Darrell Miller Sent: Saturday, March 03, 2007 6:11 PM To: miller@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [Miller] Poss Miller / Boone Connections in Madison Co. KY JM and Max, There are a couple of ways the Millers of Madison County, Ky connect to Daniel Boone. The first I would submit would be through the sister of Daniel Boone, Sarah Cassandra Boone who married JOhn Wilcoxson on May 29, 1742 in Berks County, PA. A daughter named Rachael Wilcoxson was born 1754 in Rowan County, NC. married James Enoch Mylar about 1781. James was born Oct 22, 1753 in PA and died abt. 1789. After the death of James Mylar / Miller Rachael married William Bryan. Issue of James and Rachael were Rachel Mylar, born in Kentucky about 1789. Rachel Mylar married Stephen Jett on February 24, 1806, and James Mylar married Henrietta Jett on October 2, 1806. Both marriages were in Madison County, Kentucky. Henrietta Jett was born in Virginia (later Kentucky) and was the daughter of Isaac Israel Jett and Mary Letcher. I have not found any connection between James Enoch Mylar and the Millers of Paint Lick, Garrard County, KY. There was an Elizabeth Jett marriage to Thomas Raymond Shearer of Madison County, Ky that was related to my grandmother. I believe the SHearers and Mylars of Bullock Creek, York District, SC were related or certainly knew each other. There was also a connection between a daughter of Henry "Ironmaster" and the Colonel John Malcolm Miller by marriages to the Lewis and Lynn families. 3. Linda, My interest is in Elizabeth Church b Oct. 1810 in Wilkes Co. and married to Leonard Miller b ca 1803. Elizabeth was d/o John Church and Nancy Moore and grand daughter of John "Yankee". Leonard Miller was a junior, son of Leonard Miller b ca 1762 and a Margaret Unknown. I need help with this Leonard Miller as there were two or three Leonards lurking about the county. Some think a Leonard Miller married to Jane Hickerson but i have never seen anything to substantiate this. I do know Leonard Miller Sr was concidered a Torie as a search was initiated to find him and bring him in. This would eliminate him being related to William Miller who married Polly Eldridge, at least I think so.
