    3. Hi Gerry Grover I reviewed by copy of the 1870 Kansas Census Index and find what I think is the reason you did not locate your Robert Miller in the proper place when you looked at page 218 on the microfilm for Neosho TWP, Neosho County, Ks. The index has a Willer, repeat Willer, Robert 29 M W IL Neosho, Neosho TWP roll 400 Page 218 series 593. More than likley this is your man with a miss spelled last name. If there are other family member which should be listed with him on the same cenus you might be able clearify your missing family. Also the Index listed James H. Miller as age 20. hope this help. 1. [MILLER-L] Descriptive Subject Line, Please!
    2. Joy & Bob Stefan
    3. When posting a message like this, you need to provide some places and dates. James and Elizabeth are such common names, as is Miller. Your subject line should be descriptive also, maybe something like: Elizabeth Miller m. James. A Bryant, year, state (or even better, County/State). There are a lot of people on the lists who just delete any message without reading it when it doesn't have a descriptive subject line. A descriptive subject line also allows all of us to bypass those messages we KNOW don't apply to our particular lines. For example, there is a lot of traffic on this list pertaining to New York, and in particular Brooklyn. Neither of my Miller/Mueller lines were ever in NY (except to come through Ellis Island, in one case), so I save a lot of valuable time by skipping over those messages. Thanks for your time! Joy :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeannie K Owens" <kayowens1@juno.com> To: <MILLER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2000 11:14 PM Subject: [MILLER-L] Miller > I am looking for any info on a Elizabeth Miller who married a James A. > Bryant.
