I am looking for anyone who knows of a Henry Francis (Frank) Miller who married Mary S. Frazier in 1870 Giles Co., TN Kathleen Burnett
Lasadia Stout married a man with the last name of Henry before 1853 in Hamilton Co., TN. They had two children, Kanico J. and Hannah J. This husband with the surname Henry must have died, and she must have re-married a man with the last name of Miller because by 1860 she also has a child by the name of Henry Francis (Frank) Miller. If you know of a Lasadia Stout Miller or Henry I would love to hear from you. Kathleen Burnett
I have been trying to find the parents of our Amanda Miller, we have very little to go on. She was born in Jules Co., Ill. April 13, 1864. She was born after her father went to the Civil War, of which he never came home. We do not have a first name for him. Her mother is listed as a PATCH (no first name) on Amanda's death Certificate. She was living with the Jinks family in the census of 1880. She later married (9-25-1883 in Beloit, Mitchell Co., Kansas) the youngest son of the family, Sereno Dexter Jinks. We do not know what happened to her mother, did she remarry or did she die young. Any information on this family would be great. Have at least one line from Amanda, and working on others. Sharon CA

Several list members have gotten back to me regarding Lavada Miller. I have not found a link yet but it is very interesting that this rather unusual name keeps surfacing in the Miller line. I have it in no others. Would those who have Lavadas mind sending me the earliest appearance of the name? I think this will help trace the line.
I am looking for information on Lavada Alzina Miller. She was my g-grandmother d. 1952, m. Emory T. Morris in Lampasas TX. She divorced him and m. Charlie Miller. She had a brother named Harvey. We know nothing of their backgrounds. If you have any good ideas, I would appreciate knowing them. Best regards, Joe

Hello there! I am hoping that someone out there has dates for Joseph Miller, Jr. of NJ (Monmouth County)? Howell Twp. is the most likely culprit for where they lived. Looking for birth, death, and marriage dates. He was married to a woman (I am pretty sure) named Katie (have no maiden name). John's dates are 1824-1895. Can anyone help me on this one? Enjoy the weekend, my Patterson husband has a birthday tomorrow so I will be rather busy, but would love to surprise everyone with a connection between John Miller (father listed as Joseph Miller & mother Katie Miller on death cert.), Joseph Miller, Jr. and Joseph Miller, Sr. at the dinner party tomorrow evening. I am sure you all know what trying to impress the in-laws can be like! Donna Patterson IttyBkShp@aol.com <<http://patterson.family.homepage.com

Thomas, You have my interest now. I just saw that your Jacob lived in Rush Co. IN. My Millers lived in Fayette Co. IN, right against the Rush Co. line. I don't know the name of a couple of the male sons - well I don't know much about this family yet. My "Millers" moved to Fayette Co. about 1825, from Greene Co., OH. There was a Jacob Miller in my family, but I am sure he is not yours (although I believe he did buy land in Fayette Co). He resided in Greene Co. OH. My Millers lived in Posey Twp (T 15N, R 11E, near Bentonville). My Millers were related to the Stephens, McClellan, Dickey, Criswell, Spence, Morton, White, Gattrell, Wilson, Cole, Manlove, Matney, Mattingley, Bromagem and Galloway families. Does any of this look like there is anything to pursue? Howdy Fellow Listers ! I just spent the last several hours going the Ancestry.com's 1920 census for Pennsylvania and I found my grandfather, his siblings and his parents in it. YIPPEE! I now have something confirmed 3 ways. So I guess it is gospel. Anyhow, The 1920 census is viewable on line at ancestry for those of you that have a membership. It is only a partial listing. And I am gathering the Millers from it to post to here. So if you are searching PA and want me to check it for your millers I will. However I need to know what county and at least the Parents if they are children and this also contains women listed as head of household on this census. Please send it to my email box marked 1920 CENSUS PENN STATE. And I will get hte info as soon as I can for you. Tracilyn Miller Brown
