Susan Ann Miller was born in 1826, in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA, the date computed by her age at marriage. The place of her birth was also included on her son's death certificate. Her parents names are unknown to me, and she married Reuben James Bullard in Helena, Arkansas, in 1841, with her unnamed guardian's consent. Reuben was from Fredericksburg, VA and how these two ever got together is beyond me! They ended up in Wheeling (W)VA, where they remained. Susan Ann's father was murdered, according to family legend, after selling his Baldwin co., GA plantation in anticipation of the War between the States. He was traveling up the Ms. River with his secretary, who killed and robbed him of the proceeds of the property sale. Does anyone have Millers in the Milledgeville or Baldwin County area of GA, before and including 1826? Sandra
