Hello.My name is Tony. Are there any Miller's in England who have descendants from Lithuania? My Grandparents "Peter and Annie Miller" lived in Birmingham and Coventry during there lives. >From death certificate records they were born in 1872. >From birth certificate records of my Father and Uncles in Birmingham (1900-1904), the maiden surname of my Grandmother varied from Plowinski to Plavansky to Pleocinsky. Although "Peter MILLER otherwise MILOWSKI was on my Grandfather's death certificate it could also be MILEWSKI or the Lithuanian MILIAUSKAS. I understand they originated from the Suwalki Gubernia,and they were Roman Catholic. I have found no Naturalisation Records in England to locate town or village of origin. Also I have been working my way back from1900 looking at Hamburg Emigration Lists ordered from the LDS Family History Center,up to now no luck. I would appreciate any words of help either from England or elsewhere. Cheers.

I believe that someone wrote me a month or so back inquiring about a John Adam MILLER from Old Pendleton Dist. (Anderson, Pickens, Oconee Counties). If that person will write me, I have found at least a couple of items that may be of help. Bob, I have a Harney Ansley Miller, born abt 1831 to George C. Miller in Greene Co., OH. George C. was born in PA "near Pittsburgh", possible near a "Germantown" although I strongly suspect Scottish ancestry. His parents were John Miller and Ruth Stephens (they were married in 1793). I have not determined in which county/counties they lived in PA, but they certainly must have been the southern one or two rows of SW PA. Ruth's parents were Benjamin Stephens and Agnes McClelland. They lived in Ayr Twp. Bedford Co. PA. I am wondering if the Ainsley/Ansley name means anything?? At SLC, I determined there was a Germantown in Cambria County. I would appreciate it if someone could do a look-up for Elijah and Hannah (Baush) Miller in Sumerset Co., PA in the years 1850,1860, and/or 1870. Elijah was thought to be born around 1810 and Hannah around 1808. They had at least one child named Eliza born in 1844.

(Kline) Miller, of Buchert Road, Lower Pottsgrove, died Saturday at his residence. Born in Reading, he was the son of the lateJoseph and Edith S. (Krah) Miller. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, of Pottstown, and was a life member of the ringing Hill fire company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Joseph L.
