    1. [MILLER-L] FRANK MILLER
    2. Peggy Sue Miller
    3. Hi~ I am looking for a FRANK MILLER (aprox. birth date 1883) who lived in Benton Co.Siloam Springs,AR. in the early 1900's. Poss. from very late 1890's to 1915 or so. They had several children. One of which was my grandpa (past away this last Tuesday --- Jan.22, 2001.) His birth certificate is the only one of their kids, I found there. His name was JACK HAROLD MILLER- born Sept. 1,1910.(He claims he had been born in 1908.) He had a twin named JIM (JAMES- ?) MILLER.(Which is no mention of twin birth on birth cert.) Also on his birth cert. it says his mother's name was MAGGIE WALLING (aprox birthdate 1884.) Also it states her on Jack's marriage licsens to my grandma (MARTHA KATHRYN WASHBURN dob Aug 31,1909?) in April,1928 in Illinois. But our family was told that FRANK took JACK and JIM at a very young age and left the family unit around 1915 to 1918 or so? Leaving MAGGIE with the other kids. We have NO CLUE to what had become of the families????? Is there anyone who can do a look up (Census?) for me of Benton Co, AR-Siloam Spings...for1910? Or possible look just for a family with twins in the census? I am not sure how the census works. I have ordered it many times with no luck of recieving it. Are there other ways to look for this family there--I have been to every website poss. I have searched for almost 4 years straight now--with very little to go on!! It is possible that the MILLER name may have not existed then and they went by another last name...that is why I think looking for twin boys there and then would be the clue!! Oh yes--I have a website with FRANK and JACKS pix on it: http://www.angelfire.com/ks/familytiesmiller I also can email the birth cert. of JACK's to anyone who is interested in checking it for me-( has all the info I just mentioned.) I have had no luck or leads.I am very discouraged. I know many others are as well. Anyone that could help would be appreciated!!!!---->>Peggy Sue MILLER

    1. [MILLER-L] General Commands
    2. Miller, Penny D.
    3. This message is just a reminder of the commands available to you on Rootsweb. First, you send message to the listname followed by a dash and then an L so it would look something like miller-l@rootsweb.com or schmidt-l@rootsweb.com or karp-l@rootsweb.com Now, if you want to subscribe to a list on Rootsweb OR unsubscribe to a list on Rootsweb, you would then send the message to listname, followed by a dash, followed by an L, followed by a dash, and the word request. A few examples are miller-l-request@rootsweb.com schmidt-l-request@rootsweb.com karp-l-request@rootsweb.com The command(s) that you must send to this address are simply subscribe or unsubscribe. You must not include anything else in the message. You may not even have a signature file or that could turn this message into an error. RootsWeb does NOT have a NOMAIL function. If you will be away, you must UNSUBSCRIBE from the list and SUBSCRIBE again when you return. If you don't, 2 things may happen: 1) You will accumulate a ton of mail and 2) your ISP may start bouncing mail. RootsWeb will automatically UNSUBSCRIBE you after 4 bounces. Archives ARE available for the time you are away. If you desire to get digests (groups of messages) instead of individual message, you must subscribe to the digest version of the list. To subscribe or unsubscribe to the digest version of any list you must send a message with the word subscribe to the listname, followed by a dash, followed by a D, followed by a dash, followed by the word request. Examples follow: miller-d-request@rootsweb.com schmidt-d-reqeust@rootsweb.com karp-d-request@rootsweb.com You can be subscribed to both the digest version and the individual version of a list. I would suggest that when changing from one to the other, that you subscribe to both first. Once you are receiving the message the new way, you can then unsubscribe from the one you no longer want. Digests are available now on all of my lists. On slower lists, digest means no messages for a couple of days. Regardless of whether you are on digest or not, ALL messages are posted to listname-L@rootsweb.com. I repeat: Regardless of whether you are on digest or not, ALL messages are posted to listname-L@rootsweb.com. Rootsweb also no longer allows the individual to look at the names of people on the list. This used to be called a REVIEW on the old Maiser lists. If you need to find out if you are on a list or have problems with your subscriptions, you must write to me to investigate the problem. General Information regarding RootsWeb can be found at: http://www.rootsweb.com/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~maillist/ Please keep this email around for when you need to unsubscribe from any of these lists. The concepts work on all of the lists held here at RootsWeb. If you have any questions or problems, please direct them to me personally at one of the following addresses.
