    1. [MILLER-L] Christian Miller Sr./ Catherine
    2. Sharron Redden
    3. Hello, this is my first posting to this particular list. I have researched this line off and on for many years. I am looking for parents of Christian Miller (Sr.) and wife Catherine (maiden name unknown) of E. Tennessee. Christian was b. abt. 1770-1775 and died in 1818 Wayne Co., IN (now Union Co.) IN. His wife Catherine died abt. 1847 in Boone or Montgomery Co. IN. Christian's father may have been a Henry Miller but have never found proof. Christian (Sr.) and Catherine had the following children: Elizabeth b. 1793 md. William Farlow Jr. Catherine b. abt. 1795 md. John Farlow Adam b. 1799 md. Sidney Johns(t)on Samuel b. 1801 md. Hannah Coddington Henry b. abt 1803-4 md. Elizabeth Neicely Isaac b. 1806 md. Elizabeth Coddington Christian Jr. b. 1809 md. Mary Ann Coddington Mary Ann b. 1812 Md. John McLean (my 2nd gr. grandparents) Eve b. bef. 1818 md. Asbey C. Williamson. Most of these children married in Indiana and some later went west to Oregon. Can anyone help with this line? Will gladly share any information I have. Regards, Sharron Redden, CA

    1. [MILLER-L] Re: MILLER-LEONARD & LYDIA
    2. After 5 years I have finally had a breakthrough on my MILLER line. I was stumped at my great grandfather, Jesse MILLER, who was born on 5 Sept 1838 in N. Y. (location?) and died in Tiffin, Seneca Co., Ohio on 1 Oct. 1880 after a farming accident. He was married to a Mary Ellen SHANNON. This of course only moves that brick wall a generation further back. Does anyone have a line on Jesse's parents, LEONARD MILLER and LYDIA MILLER (yes that's her maiden name). LEONARD was born in PA. probably between 1800 and 1820, LYDIA in VA. around the same dates. They were married and settled in Adams TWP in Yates Co., N.Y., where Jesse was born in 1838. They apparently moved westward to Seneca Co., Ohio in the 1840s. I would appreciate any information anyone has on the above. HERB

    1. [MILLER-L] Benjamin Miller/Illinois, Missouri/Kansas
    2. It has been a long time since I listed my brick wall. I am looking for information regarding Benjamin R. Miller, born in Illinois...I do not know where or names of his parents. He was married to Mary Belle Coffman in Buchanan Co. Missouri in 1880 and then moved to Wyndotte Co., Kansas, and was found on the 1900 census with 8 of thier children. They had 13 children in all and have not been found since. I found one Benjamin R. in Missouri but not the right one as he was too young and married to wrong person with wrong family. Names of known children listed below: : Embsley, Oscar, Jack, Pauline, Elzie, Edna, Sadie, Grace, Archie, Milton, Frank, Harold, maybe an Ezra. Any help would be appreciated. Have most names, just can't find them. Edna

    1. [MILLER-L] Miller's in Mi & Canada
    2. Every one speaks of the brick wall, well all I definitely have one too. Mine starts in Markhan Upper Canada Ontario to be specific, That's where my G G G G grandfather Jacob Miller IM not sure of a year of birth somewhere around 1800. He had from what we have been told 17 children, one of those being Abel Miller born 1821 in Markhan Upper Canada Ontario. That is the only one of his children's names I know for sure, Abel Miller then in sometime came to Michigan Richfield township Genesse County to be exact. Abel Miller married Loretta Wixson in April 27, 1842. He died August 12, 1879. Well, that should give you all a little info to go on, I have a lot more info past Abel if anyone would find it helpful. Thank You, Kevin Miller millerhk@aol.com
