    1. [MILLER-L] RE: Jonathan Miller m. Helen b. Indiana
    2. Debra Miller
    3. Hi, We've found a bit more information on our Miller family - one more generation back - and maybe someone out there can connect. The family seemed to move about quite a bit and the children were born in at least 3 states. I'll list the family as they appeared in the various census reports: 1870 Missouri, Caldwell County, Fairview Township, Mirabile P.O. Jonathan Miller 47 b. Indiana, father b. Virginia; mother b. North Carolina Helen Miller 42 b. New York, father b. New York; mother b. Indiana Edwin 21 b. Indiana Freeman 18 b. Indiana Sarah 16 b. Indiana Samual 12 b. Missouri Hanson 9 b. Missouri Grant 6 b. Illinois Milburn 4 months b. Illinois Franklin ? 1880 Missouri, Caldwell County, Fairview Township, Mirabile P.O. Jonathan Miller 47 Helen Miller 52 Hanson 18 Ulysses (Grant) 16 Milbern 13 John F. and Christina 10 The family was not found in Illinois in the 1860 census, so their stay there may have been short. My husband's line continues with Grant Miller who appears in the 1890 Arkansas Sebastian Co. census married to Margaret Crabtree. Any information or leads would be appreciated. Thanks, Debra Miller

Posted on: Miller Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/FamilyAssoc/Miller/10791 Surname: Milner, Carr, Moore ------------------------- My grandmother was a Milner of Mississippi. She was Arra Ophelia Milner(dob-10-3-1899) daughter of Molly Moore and J.M. Milner. I think she was born somewhere close to Forest. That is where she attended school. J.M. and Mollie were married in 1882 in Scotts County Mississippi. They came to Texas around 1914. JM was the son of Oss Milner and Evalina Carr who married in Leake county . Other than Arra, children of Molly and JM were Mattie, Rebel, Richard, Jett, Katie, Leona and more but I do not know all . They had at least 10 children. I am wondering if your Milners of Mississippi that came to Texas could also, my Milners of Mississippi??
