I am trying to find anyone with connections to my Miller family, who seem to have disappeared all together off this earth. John Miller and his wife Jane Isabell, who was b. 1831and d. 1888, lived in Iroquois, Ontario with their children: Daniel Jesse, b. 1867, d. 1926 George Minnie Luella Beatrice, b. 1868, d. 1904 Daniel lived in Prescott, Ontario in 1904. Jesse married Margarett Banford and they lived on the farm in Iroquois. They had three sons, twins Hugh and Harold, and John. The twins stayed on the farm and never married. John became a doctor, staying in Iroquois. John married Jean Muir Cunningham Wylie and they had: Margaret Jean Ruth b. 1925, d. 1975 David George married and was living in Van Couver, BC in 1904. He and his wife had children, three I believe, but I do not have names. Minnie married James Crawford of Cardinal, Ontario and they had at least one son, Myron. Luella married in Prescott in 1901 to William John Brennan from Cardinal, Ontario and they settled in Watertown, NY. In 1902 Luella gave birth to my grandmother Belle Blanche and in 1904 Luella died. Luella, Jesse, Margarett, Hugh, Harold, Dr. John, Jean, Ruth and their mother Jane Isabell are all buried in Point Iroquois Cemetery. I have not found the father John or other siblings. The three remaining children of Dr. John, I am told, have moved from the area and no one knows for sure which way they went. If anyone has any connection or clues I would love to hear from you. Posted on: Miller Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/FamilyAssoc/Miller/10818 Surname: Miller, Mueller, Bernholz, Beha, Murphy ------------------------- My g-g grandfather is Francis Anthony Miller, native of Wintershausen, Bas Rhine. We have not been able to find a port of entry; possible he came into NY thru Canada, sometime it 1851. This was the Alcace region that kept changing hands between Germany and France, but this is a German lineage. We do not know when or where, but he married Mary Anna Beha and their first child was born in 1855. They had 9 children. Please contact me and I will happily fill you in on all the details. I have NOT as yet documented all the info I have; however, I have located most of the burial sites. The person who handed this down to me has done extensive research, and I am secure that we are on track this far. But I would like to go farther and am willing to share all the data...perhaps one of his children or their spouses is related to you! Thanks for taking time to view this...and hopefully reply. Rose Ann

Dear Miller Researchers: I have been receiving messages that you are all getting virus messages, which trace back to my emails. I have not sent anything to the MILLER-Lrootsweb.com, but did receive an attachment from someone that's affiliated and it had an attachment which stated "corrupt" when I tried to open it. I have a firewall and virus protector on my PC, so if you're getting anything that looks suspicious, I wouldn't open it. I have contacted my Provider's Technical Support to look at my emails and see if there's anyone that's trying to send me corrupt attachments or viruses. As you well know, many of these viruses attach themselves to the email contacts list, then it sends them out to everyone you have on your listings. Again, I apologize if you have been getting anything from my website, but I haven't personally sent it. Marsha Miller Smith mlmsmith@seidata.com
Linda: There are an awful lot of Millers out there, and so I can't imagine that my Millers have any connection to yours, but you never know until you ask. I do not find the name Anson in my Miller family as of this date, but like hundreds of other Millers, and other families, the migration pattern is similar. My earliest known Miller families were born between 1784 and 1790 in New York, and moved from New York to Clark County, Illinois. Many of my Miller ancestors were born in Clark County, Illinois in the 1820-1830 period and by the 1850 census had families of their own. There are about 20 Miller boys born in 1820-1860 period in my family in Clark County, Illinois and I only know about my great grandfather's family who moved to Kansas. I am sure that some of his brothers, and numerous cousins, left Illinois for Missouri and Kansas as well. My Miller family lived in Sedgwick, Pratt, and Kiowa county Kansas in the 1860-1900 period. Miami County may be too far away to believe the families may be connected, but I am not sure where all of my Miller descendants moved to. Perhaps you could put in more detail regarding names, dates, places so that we could all check our own records for a connection.
