He was born in Ireland, came to New Jersey, and then to Michigan. They lived in or near Raisin township. Their children were John, Samuel, Hugh, and Matilda. I don't know if this family is related to me or not. What got me curious was that I saw John Jrs. death registration, that said his Mother was Jane Lowry.I had happened on it while looking for my relative Joseph Heaney who died in Sault Ste. Marie. His parents were John Heaney and Ellen Lowry, who immigrated to Ontario. I am trying to find out if John Heaney and Jane Lowry also came from County Cavan in Ireland.
