I didn't find a marriage record to a Mr. Meinhoefer, so that is speculation that needs to be verified by documentation. In both 1900 & 1910 Adam is listed as divorced. The 3 oldest children, Ernest, Anna and Adam J, were born in Ohio. Adam J Stetten's birthplace is listed as Oberlin, Ohio on his marriage record. The family moved from Ohio to Lenawee Co. MI abt 1860.
