Since the Wood family is a collateral one for me, I have not researched them with any intensity. I suppose you are already aware that there is a biography of William Wood, born in Onondaga, NY, 1826. Included in this bio is information about his father. If you have not already viewed this data you can see it on the website: DeckerJourney.com. It is from a book of bios printed about 1895, I think. Hope this is of use to you. Leander Wod seems to have lived in Barre, Orleans, before moving to MI. He seems to have been born in 1804 in Onongaga.
