Baker is my great, great, grandfather. Some of his things have been passed down to me, including letters from his sons while fighting in the civil war, which I've transcribed (facinating), a photograph of him in 1866, his family bible with handwritten notes of family births and deaths, and a few other things. About 10 years ago, my daughter and I drove to Lenawee Michigan and found the cemetary with all the family graves. I was doing geneology at that time, but have not done any since then. Joanne, your post is almost 3 years old, so you may not even get this. It is a complete fluke that I even found this site, and your post. I didn't even know this type of site exists.
