The records I have are that Mary Ann and William were married in Sylvania Ohio in 1826. THis not confirmed. My family records say they were married in Canada, not confirmed. I am trying to find Mary Ann's parents. The records I have indicate that she was born in Canada. William and Mary Ann probably came to Michigan from New York. William and Mary are in the 1830, 1840,1850, 1860 (name spelled William Baneriff in Leanwee Co., Blissfield, MI), and 1870 U. S. Federal censuses. Mary Ann moved to Waverly Kansas to live with her son, after William died in Tecumseh, Lenawee County Mighigan in 1861. She is in the 1880 U. S. Federal Census in Waverly Kansas.
