    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Ann and Conrad Burns in their book, Michigan Quakers: Abstracts of Fifteen Meetings of the Society of Friends 1831-1960, (Decatur, MI: Johnson Graphics, 1989), indicate that William died on 22m 10 1846 at Woodstock, Lenawee, MI. They also indicate that he transferred to the Adrian MM on 14d 5m 1840. However, other variables exist. There are a couple of other kinship groups that are part of the picture. Gideon and Susannah (Carr) Lupton lived in Lenawee County as well as their son-in-law and daughter, Joseph and Sarah (Lupton) Binns. The Rollin PM was divided in half on 9d 1m 1840; the northern meeting was held at the home of Gideon Lupton while the southern meeting was held at the home of Elijah Brownell. A good place to look would be Gravestone Records of Lenawee County, Michigan by Harriet Cole Bowen. This is a fairly comprehensive study of cemeteries in Michigan. I located the graves of Gideon and Susannah in part, because of this book. I would really like to share information with each other through email. Thanks!
