I am also a descendant of Samuel. What is the background of your Didamia Rhoades/Rhodes? Where was she born and apprx when. The Rhoades family roots are Ohio/Pennsylvania. Going back three generations, there is no Lewis. However, we have not been able to get beyond Lewis' grandparents (surnames Allen and Sherman) FYI: Samuel had a lot of children with names we've no idea where they came from. Hello, Do you have a Calvin Walter Rhoads, s/o Michael Rhoads and Elizabeth Walters who married a Mable S. Bird in your line by any chance. Mable comes from my Bird line and has been somewhat of a mystery for some time now.
