Samuel, I think, married an Marian DOUGLAS/S born 1835 in Byron, NY. I've got her with Sam until the 1870 census with 3 chilren, Ella b. 1855 in NY, Caroline b 1862 in MI and David b 1864 in MI. I don't know where they got married. If Ella is from a first marriage? and I can't seem to find any of them in the 1880 census!!! Is anyone researching them? did they move? did he join in the Civil War? any info would be great! if you want the Douglas info.
