Here's the Lenawee County GenWeb site: www.geocities.com/lenaweemi/ old Plat Maps: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~keller/lenawee/work/index.html 1917 Lenawee County phone book: http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~keller/museum/work/phone02.html Lenawee County Historical Society/Museum: http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~keller/museum/work/index.html The cemetery is directly on 223 on the west edge of Palmyra. It's a well kept cemetery surrounded by fences on all 4 side. I thought there was public access but could well be mistaken. I've never stopped there but have gone by it numerous times over the years. Hope this is of some help. Sheila: The cemetery that I'm referring to is not the one currently in use that you mention. It is east of the village and on the south side of US223. It is in middle of a cow pasture, but has trees in it. Nearly all stones are now kicked over, and graves of some 20 - 25 people are desecrated. Very sad. Lenawee Historical Museum has one typewritten page on it done back in 1032 ! Thanks, though, for your input.
