I belong to a yahoo group of Yorkshire researchers, and some time ago connected with a gentleman who was researching the Ivesons of the Wilberfoss/Pocklington area. We compared notes, but we couldn't determine an immediate, obvious connection, but likely there is. I think I am getting so used to having success fairly quickly due to the ease of internet research that I am getting very frustrated with the roadblock of not being able to proceed with the Iveson family tree. This is the time when patience is a virtue. I am without any other clues, other than the city of Pocklington being Thomas' birthplace.
