I have a Davis on my tree born Ohio, but ended up in Lenawee County, so had a selfish interest in checking Philander Davis out in case he was a relation, thus the lookups. The wonderful tree that your other replier supplied confirmed that I was "barking up the wrong tree!" You are lucky to have to research the first name of Philander instead of Henry. Linda
