Note -- I'm from a different Thompson line -- he was the husband of one of my Mom's sisters. <quote> The Adrian Daily Telegram, Fri. April 22, 1992. Alfred H. Thompson, 83, of High St. Blissfield, died Wed. April 22, 1992, at the Lynwood Manor, Adrian. He was born July 18, 1908, in Riga Township, the son of Albert and Anna (Frederich) Thompson. On Jan. 30., 1952 in Toledo, OH, he married Charlotte M.Westrick. She preceded him in death in 1989. Mr. Thompson worked as a self-employed painter all his life. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He was a member of the Blissfield American Legion Post No. 325 and the Moose Lodge No. 713 in Toledo. Survivors include several cousins and a close friend, Margaret Keller of Blissfield. Preceded in death with his wife are his parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held Sat., 1 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Hime in Bliss., with the Pastor Douglas Soley officiating. Burial in Pleasent View Cem. Bliss.
