Since I posted the original message I have found a little bit more about the man through his death certificate and a few other items. According to his death certificate JOHN THOMPSON was born on April 21, 1875 in Willard, Ohio. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio, along with his wife, BERTHA DENT, and two other people having Thompson surnames: 1) JENNIE A. THOMPSON, born 1865, died Dec. 16, 1930, and 2) GLEN THOMPSON, died Feb. 25, 1954. In the 1920 census, Jennie Thompson is living on Bath Road, Lucas County, Ohio, she is 69 yrs. old, and a widow. Living in the household was Marion J. Thompson, 28 yrs. old, born Mich., her brother-in-law. I have often wondered if Marion J. was John who married Bertha Dent?
