    3. I am looking for a Celinda & husband Campbell who show in the 1850 Census in Dover Twp, Lenawee County. Does Lenawee County Records go back that far where I could get a marriage document? Sure would like to know Celinda's maiden name. Susanne

Marriages in Lenawee start in 1852 (unless you get lucky and find a church record of one before that date) 1852 is the date of the burning of the courthouse, deed records were NOT destroyed, but marriages were lost.
