Surnames: bailey, perry Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/mFB.2ACE/2650 Message Board Post: I am trying to uncover family of my great grandmother Mary Ellen Bailey born either Nov 1864 (if I believe her death cert) or Nov 1870 (if I believe her gravestone) Mary Ellen married Frank Alonzo Perry abt 1895 (still trying to verify this date.) On Mary Ellen's death certificate it lists her father as Harvey J. Bailey. I do not know who her mother was. Mary was killed on Aug 6, 1915 from burns from a gas stove explosion while cooking dinner. Frank died 6 mos later. Her 5 children were scattered in poor homes and orphanages around the state. Is there anyone researching baileys in Lenawee co that might have a connection? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
