I am researching the Gentz name that prevails in the Adrian, MI phonebook. I belong to the Minnesota Gentzes and am wondering if there is any relationship with the Michigan Gentzes. The MI Gentzes I've talked to don't know. My Gentz family tree goes back to the 1500's. My immigrating ancestor was said to be sponsored (~1840) by an Uncle in the States who is unknown.
