My gr-gr-grandfather, Henry Sweet and his wife Katherine/Kate lived in Adrian, Michigan in the late 1800s into 1930s. Henry was son of Wesley & Mary Sweet who came from Vermont with their children (w/ approx birthdates): Charles (1834), George (1836), Hiland W. (1838) marr. Emma (1842), Sarah A. (1844), Helen E. (1847) and Henry Lionel, born 1952. Wesley & Mary and at least one of their daughters ended up in Kalkaska, Mich, but I don't know about the male children. Henry & Katy had three children who lived with them in Adrian: James Wilbur, my gr-grandfather; Marion, who married but had no children; Charles H, who moved to Detroit, then to Hartford, CT in 1917. Son Frances had two children. If any of this ties in with your research, I have piles of documents and photos. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hello fellow researchers! I am hoping to locate the names of Laura Ellen Cannon or Connor (b. about 1870 in AR, TN, or MS according to census records). She married George Washington Wingerd on September 8, 1892 in Lenawee Co., MI. I have not been able to locate their deaths in order to hopefully obtain a death certificate or obituary for them. The last I found Laura was on the 1900 census. Her husband was last found on the 1920 census. Any information would be greatly appreciated. HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Karen

If you study Ogden Township on the 1893 Atlas, you will find the names Mulberry and Pifer in sections 33 and 34. The index to the 1893 Atlas shows only one Geo H.
