Where were his wives, Sarah Ann CONDE McWILLIAM(S) buried (d. 25 May 1846) and his last wife, Alida CONDE McWILLIAM(S) who was still living when Abner died? In Google I found this information on an Orrin Potter. Enlisted Sept. 25 1813 in company of Capt. Jonathan Prentiss jr., Dixon's Regt. State of Vermont roster of Soldiers in the war of 1812-14 prepared & published under the direction of the Adjutant General, 1933 p. 341. am searching the family of a friend who lives in Missouri. His birth parents were Louis Vageakos and Jacqueline Cannon Vageakos. Louis was born in Tecumseh, Lenawee co., Michigan to Peter Vageakos (Vigikos other spelling) and Helen Melonakos on 16 Feb 1920. Louis was killed in Lucas Co, Ohio on 16 Aug 1948. Peter was born in Greece in 1883, Helen Melonakos born in Greece in 1894, they were married on 11 Feb 1917 in Tecumseh, Lenawee Co., Michigan. Witnesses were John Vigikos and Em Melonakos. Parents of Peter were Louis Vigikos and Bessie Perso. Peters siblings were possibly 1. John born 29 Dec 1888 Greece 2. Nickolas born 05 Apr 1892 Greece arrived in USA about 1906 3.; Gust born 08 May 1898 Greece 4. George M. born 05 Sep 1901 Greece 5. Louis Lewis born about 1886 Greece John, Louis and Nicholas were living in Erie, PA in 1910 Census. I am not sure where Peter was in 1910. Spelling of Vageakos has changed a lot. At the time of Louis Vageakos death 16 Aug 1948, his parents were divorced. Helen is listed as Helen Dullas of Detroit. Peter Vageakos was a confectioner and owned the Tecumseh Candy Store in Tecumseh, MI. About 1946 or so, he sold the store and went back to Ann Arbor. He was deceased when son Louis Vageakos died in 1947. Rumor has it that Peter Vageakos might have been murdered. According to census records the Melonakos family was in the candy business too. Charles Melonakos and his nephew Michael D Melonakos were living in Tecumseh in the 1930 census, Charles was 33 and Michael was 19, both are listed as candy store. Both Peter Vageakos and son Louis are buried in Bethlehem Cemetery, Jackson Rd. Ann Arbor. I understand that Bethlehem holds the remains of a log of Greek families as well as Germans. I was to go to Bethlehem Cemetery this afternoon and look at the books for the location of the graves of Vageakos and Melonakos families, but on calling there seems to be no one in the office this afternoon. Does anyone recognize any of these people or the Vageakos or Melonakos families thanks Karen Jenter Manchester, Washtenaw Co **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
