Aug. 1855, is buried in the Old Hudson Cemetery, according to the records. He was a veteran of the War of 1812 . When it is possible, after the winter snows, I am wondering if someone in or near Hudson could find the grave site and get a picture for me. I live 1400 miles away and cannot just run over and do it. Do not know when I will be in Michigan again. I am willing to pay for the cost. Please lelt me know if this is possible.

    3. Marriages for Tecumseh residents IF Married in Lenawee will be found at the courthouse, IF the marriage was recorded. Lenawee has marriage records from 1852. The address and contact info for the courthouse can be found at the Lenawee County GENWEB site, by snooping around at the links. You might also consider contacting the Tecumseh library for possible obits, I do NOT know their policy for copies etc, for by mail researchers. Their contact info is also found via a link at the Lenawee COunty Genweb site. Good luck in your research. 3. Baptist churches have horrible records. I have not seen any Baptist church records for churches in Lenawee, HOWEVER, that does not mean there are none. You could try calling a few of the Baptist churches that are currently in the phone book and see what they tell you. I am unaware of any archives like the Methodists and Lutherans and other denominations have, again, that does not mean there are none. Good luck in your research On 1/8/06, Irene Taft <[email protected]> wrote: > > Where would I locate Baptist Church records for Lenawee County for the > years between 1839 and 1855?
