James C. died in Washington,D.C. in 1912. He was deputy commissioner of the Internal Revenue. Visited the Aten-Hendershott cemetery -------(my family) in the extreme south-east corner of Section 13 ---where Tecumseh, Macon, and Clinton meet. Acually in Macon township. I copied the records, the best that I could and this is what I have listed for John and Jane Boyce. Boyce, John d. May 16, 1884 ae 87 yrs, Jane, d. Mar. 27, 1890 ae 87 yrd wf of John Hope this helps. If I get back within a year or so will take pictures for you. Some of my family were McConnell and Colvin from County Antrim, Ireland and settled in Raisin Township, Lenawee Co. Michigan. (About six miles from there)

Brainard of Adrian MI. It was never opened until this month. I have transcribed the 1863 diary but would like to contact some of his descendants if possible.
