She was preceded into heaven by her husband, Jerry D. Pierce, Sr. Pat is survived by her children, Jerry D. Pierce, Jr. (Linda), Lorraine Pierce, Alison (Mark) Driesbach; cherished grandsons, Matthew and Lawrence; siblings, Charlene and Jim Elderkin, Richard and Carm Young, Ilene Bieber, and Jack and Marge Young of Byron Center, MI. Pat enjoyed watching birds, reading and playing cards with her friends at Caledonia's Senior Center and in Bradenton, FL. She and Jerry were known for their travels. Pat reveled in the love of Friends and Family. She fought for quality of life, in spite of the debilitating symptoms of MSA. Her life will be celebrated at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids) Saturday at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Please bring stories of the campfire, the journey, and the unforgettable moments to share with friends and family.
