The fact is that I am trying to put together now what was taken for granted a few years ago--that everyone would simply "remember". I appreciate the Bantry information. I was hoping that such records might fill in such details as those---little seems to be known of the Scanlons or Sullivans in Ireland, ie beyond those who came here...and Im not certain that I have located them all.
