His wife is listed as Effie along with children: Robert D, 1926, James E, 1927 and John David Anderson, 1932. Effie Anderson is listed dead in East Grand Rapids 4 feb 1984. John A had two sisters; Beatrice Anderson, infant, 1893-1895 Eugenia Marie Anderson. Her obit 1953: Former Local Residents Dies in Grand Rapids. Gravesite services will be held at 3:15 pm Saturday in Pilgrim Home Cemetery for Miss Eugenia Marie Anderson, 58, a former Holland resident, who died Wednesday in Blodgett Memorial Hospital in East Grand Rapids after lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday from Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids. Miss Anderson attended Holland public schools, and for many years was employed in the office at the American Red Cross in Grand Rapids. Surviving are one brother, John A Anderson, and the three nephews Robert, James and John David Anderson, all of Grand Rapids. Note: Born 22 march 1895. Parents were Gunner Andersen from Kragero, Norway, 1865-7 May 1942, and Elizabeth Jane Elferdink, 1869-12 Dec 1921. Both parents buried at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, along with Gunnars norwegian relatives. They probably died in Gr Rapids, I would much appreciate an obit lookup for them. Thank You in advance.
