Mr. Dosker died yesterday after 10 months illness. Born in The Netherlands in 1858, Mr. Dosker would have been 77 years old July 29. He came to Grand Rapids in 1873, and on Jan. 20, 1889, married MISS NELLIE STEKETEE, daughter of PAUL STEKETEE. TAUGHT CLASS 50 YEARS The Son of REV. N. H. DOSKER, pastor of Second Reformed church for several years after his arrival here in 1873, Mr. Dosker taught Sunday school classes at Central Reformed church for 50 years. He was an honorary elder of that church. He had three brothers, none of whom survive. They were PROF. HENRY DOSKER who headed the department of church history in Presbyterian Theological seminary in Louisville, Ky.,; HERMAN N. DOSKER, local insurance man, and BAREND DOSKER, also connected with the Steketee firm. Mr. Dosker became a partner in the store during the nineties and had continued actively in its management until recently. He resided at 124 Lafayette ave. N.E. SURVIVORS Besides the widow, Mr. Dosker leaves three sisters-in-law, MRS. DAN STEKETEE, MRS. PETER STEKETEE and MRS. PAUL J. STEKETEE, two brothers-in-law, DAN and PETER STEKETEE and the following nephews and nieces; PAUL FREDERICK, HAROLD, DONALD, PAUL L., EUGENE and MISS HELEN STEKETEE of Grand Rapids; MRS. GILBERT VANDERBROOK, WILLIAM H. DOSKER, JAY DOSKER, MRS. RAYMOND WILCOX, MRS. I.S. KEELER and MRS. JOHN KOTVIS of Grand Rapids; MRS. DELANO F. DOUGLAS of Boston, MRS. B. TAYLOR WARNICK of Kansas City, MRS. HARRIS MEYER of Kalamazoo, MRS. ROBERT DePREE NICHOLAS, and RICHARD DOSKER of Long Island, N.Y. Rev. John A. Dykstra, pastor of Central Reformed church, will officiate at the services, and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
