Note that per cemetery information many of these graves were moved here after 1920. Resurrection is a catholic cemetery. In 1929, the DAR did an inventory of what was then called St. Andrew's Cemetery. St. Andrews consisted of an original square containing mostly Italians. In 1920, the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids bought the land including this burial ground and began a cemetery for themselves adjoining the original square. They also opened another area adjoining their section which began with interments of several individuals that were moved from another Wyoming Cemetery. Blake's death date would indicate he was one to be moved in or about 1920. Based on the information in the previous posts, I would guess that Mr. Blake moved from GR to Wyo at some point and perhaps his widow then returned to GR to live with her parents. There is no explanation given for the ! move however the only other Wyoming cemetery is now called Grandville Cemetery. It is a protestant cemetery so one might surmise that they moved him when a catholic cemetery became available. If Resurrection doesn't have the information on his burial (since they took over St. Andrews in 1950), check the Grandville one.
