Mary Louise was born August 31, 1919 in Delphos, OH, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Eysenbach) Mills. She earned a BA Degree from Miami of Ohio University, after which she taught public school for a year in Ada, OH. Mary Louise was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband J. Daniel Rupert in 1995. Mary Louise was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo where she was also a member of the Anna Circle. She served as a Den Mother for her children, was an avid reader and a member of a book club. She loved to play cards and was a member of a Bridge Club and enjoyed dancing. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Sandra (David) Graves of Griffin, GA, Steven (Linda) Rupert of Dorr, MI and David Rupert of Kalamazoo; a grandson Andrew Graves of Atlanta, GA; two step-grandchildren, Julie Meiszberg and Jodie Raker; five step-great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Kassidy, Karsen, Mary Ava and Madelyn; and a sist! er-in-law, Mary Ellen Detrick of Lima, OH. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Sandra Elfring officiating. Interment at 3:00 PM at the West Side Cemetery in Delphos, OH. Friends may meet the family beginning at 9:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Community for the excellent care given to their mother over the past few years. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Mary Louise's memory may be made to the employee fund at Heritage Community or to the United Methodist Church Women.
