I went to school with the Wiers family who lived on Wendler. Their grandparents/or uncle actually lived on Roos, a block to the east of Galewood (formerly Mulder.) The corner of their lot actually touched the back corner of my parent's property on Burton St. The Ed Wiers that died July 1975, he's buried in Grandville Cemetery and was born 1889 & lived in Grandville. The Ed I'm looking for was born 1899. I have his WWI registration information. It's possible that Eddie Wiers who died in 1979 might be who I'm looking for. I believe there was a third Edward Wiers in the early 1900's census's, who was the son of Henry (Henrick) Wiers. When doing a search on the name on Ancestry all three popped up at the same time so I knew there were three different men with the same name, different birth years. I think the son of Henry would probably be too old to have been the Ed I'm looking for. Thank you for your help in this.
