Here is what St. John's Orphan. shared with me: both girls were place at St. Johns, coming from Cheboygan County on January 17, 1929 Dorothy LaPorte b: Jan 17, 1918 and discharged from the orphanage on June 6, 1930 Audrey LaPorte b: July 4, 1919 and was discharged from the orphanage on Oct 29, 1931. Both girls left at separate times, but both would have been 12 to 13yrs old when they were discharged. Could they have been adopted? Servants? Did they eventually get married? Have descendents?
