This has been a family mystery for years. It took a DNA test to confirm we had the right John Olin! Per the family history by Warren Olin, just after John was born (with in the year), Ida married George at the age of 15. I don't know if Warren has Ida's age wrong or if the census is wrong. We are still trying to find out when and where Frank died. We don't believe he married but there is no death record for him in Kent County. John, Sr. remarried just before his son John married Eliza Pangborn White. Seems both couples moved from Solon Township to Farwell, MI, just north and east of Solon.
