I am so grateful to everyone on these message boards. It's been a God send to breaking down brick walls! I have from a family book, Caleb Olin and Belinda Daniels are the parents of John Coleman Olin, Sr. While in New York, he married Rosanna Whitehead. They had Frank, Ida and John. There is some confusion surrounding John. There may have been a child named John born to John and Rosanna who died as an infant and then there is a time span of more than 10 years before John, Jr. was born. The family historian thought that John may actually have been Ida's child, born out of wedlock. Unless I find documentation somewhere, there is no way to prove or disprove that. But now I can at least try to find Ida's family. I also believe you are correct with the Nolan=Olin. Who did Abby marry? Are you related to this family or just looking for a mystery to dig on? I'm so grateful for the information you found. There is a huge Olin family out there that would love to hear from you if Ida and Addie are part of your family.
