Some of the Arnolds are buried on the highest hill in Greenwood Cemetery in Grand Rapids Michigan. See http://www.rootsweb.com/~mikent/cemeteries/walker/greenwood/a.html for more info on them. The people buried on that hill and surrounding hills were, for the most part, all friends and relatives who came from that area in Bohemia (sometimes Czechoslovakia, sometimes Germany, sometimes Austria) and settled together. Of these and other related families, some, too, lived in Chicago in that larger Bohemian settlement, and others in Grand Traverse & Leelanau counties of Michigan. I have a copy of the Blumrich / Herkner genealogy that tells of come of the collective history and would be happy to share other information privately. Nan Schichtel schichtn@gvsu.edu
