Merinda was the dau of Maria (Underhill)Grindell of Lowell, MI and her first husband, ? Whitehouse. They were originally from Porter, Niagara Co. NY. Family data indicates Maria's first husband, ? Whitehouse, died shortly after their marriage and left her with a daughter Merinda. I am trying to determine Merinda Whitehouse's father's name and family. Family data indicates Merinda's family moved to Michigan with a "Whitehouse uncle".
