I am looking for information on John Rappleyea (born abt 1799 or 1800 in Herkimer Co New York) and his children: John Jr., Nicholas, Hiram, David, Philetus. His wife was Catherine. There were also daughters. One was named Katherine and she married a Morningstar. This John Rappleyea would have been the brother of my ggg grandfather, David Rappleyea. Many family members came to Michigan from the Buffalo/Tonawanda area of New York. My direct line settled in Saginaw, St Charles, and Lansing areas. I am sure the Grand Rapids Rappleyeas are related. I would like to hear from anyone having information or doing research. I know some are burried in the Plainfield Cemetery. I do not have any details on them. Any help would be appreciated.
