The funeral of Mrs. Weirich, wife of Alderman Weirich, took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence. The city offices were closed and the Common Council and city officers attended the body. The services at the residence were conducted by Rev. S. Beckwith, who preached an impressive sermon. After these services the body was taken to Greenwood Cemetery and laid in its last resting place in the presence of many friends who had known and loved Mrs. Weirich in life.
