(Source - Grand Rapids Press, Fri, Oct 4, 1968, p. 44) VLUG-Isaac Vlug, aged 82, of 1501 Bristol NW, passed away at the Ferguson-Droste-Ferguson Hospital Thursday evening. Surviving are two sons, Peter and Dirk; four daughters, Mrs. Alida Babb, Mrs. John (Wesselina) DeRoos and Mrs. Don (Marian) Balk all of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Paul (Gertrude) Mackie of Burbank, Calif.; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Marinus Vlug of Middlesex, England; two sisters, Mrs. Jacobus (Alida) VanDerVelden and Mrs. Zwaantje Versluys in the Netherlands. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Van't Hof Chapel of the Hollebeek Oele Mortuaries, with his Pastor the Rev. Charles B. Wissink of the Richmond Reformed Church officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 7-9 on Friday and Saturday evenings and from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday at the Van't Hof Chapel, 851 Lionard St. NW.
